Color Testing Between Monitors

Sooo, I have a Mac desktop now. Actually, I've had it for a little while, but I think it's worth mentioning here because I transfer all my digital work constantly between that and my Dell laptop. So far, I've noticed that colors show up noticeably duller on the Dell than on the Mac's screen, but I keep double guessing myself on which monitor needs to be tweaked.

Testing, testing. Color testing: does the background look more gray or green? (answer: It should definitely look green)

It's reading as a tan or a pink, but I'm not sure if that's just the foreground screwing with my perception of color.

Most definitely gray. I calibrate my screen regularly, so I'm thinking whatever monitor made it look green needs to be adjusted....

Aw man, that would be the mac then. Tan/pink? Perhaps I am not the only one who needs to calibrate monitors :P

It's looking more greenish grey today....it's definitely not my computer...my perception of color was just a little off that day.....wait....aren't green and red the color blind colors?.....oh crap....

Actually, it looks a tanish pink to me. :) Is your Dell an LCD Monitor?

Actually, it's the mac's monitor where the pic shows up light green. I just calibrated it with the step-by-step guide, but it's still looking the same as before.
My Dell's got an LCD monitor, and the monitor I use for my mac is... well, it's a Mitsubishi Diamond Plus? Here's more info:

hope that clears things up a bit.

... come to think of it, the mitsubishi screen has "Super Bright Diamondtron" written on it, and everything is much brighter/bolder on that screen than the dell.
